As the summer slips away rather gracefully this year, I find myself energized and eager to embark on new adventures. September, maybe because I am a teacher, always feels like a good time begin things.

So, after a summer of reflection and preparation, I feel ready to launch new adventures.

Working in the garden has always been a spiritual experience for me. As I focus on the tasks of designing and planning, weeding and planting, I am reminded of the inner work I have always returned to as I weave this life of mine.

Releasing the energy of loss is a long process it seems. Creative work paves the way for me.

It's funny how the things we do help us process we feel. The events of August 9th triggered a flood of a different kind for me, while I sorted through the remnants of the life I thought I had made.
